Xbox has finally unveiled the new Xbox Series X that you will be able to get in 2020. The new design is a completely different compared to previous Xbox designs. Phil Spencer says, “Xbox Series X will be our fastest, most powerful console ever and set a new bar for performance, speed and compatibility, allowing you to bring your gaming legacy, thousands of games from three generations and more forward with you.”

Overview of The Xbox Series X

Instead of reading long paragraphs about what’s new with the Xbox Series X, I will condensed it down to the main points that makes it stand out from the previous Xbox One.

Overview of The Xbox Series X

  • The processing power in the Xbox Series X is four times better than the Xbox One X.
  • You have the ability to choose between vertical and horizontal orientation.
  • They have created a new controller that will make it more easier for players to take screenshots. It will also have the same d-pad from the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller.
  • “world-class visuals in 4K at 60FPS, with possibility of up to 120FPS, including support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and 8K capability.”
  • The best thing said about the new xbox is “our next-generation SSD will virtually eliminate load times and bring players into their gaming worlds faster than ever before.”
  • To combat latency, the Xbox team is “leveraging technology such as Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and giving developers new functionality like Dynamic Latency Input (DLI) to make Xbox Series X the most responsive console ever.”

The new Xbox is going to be coming with a lot of new and improved technology to give the best gaming experience to the players. Of course, like a previous post written on the website, the new Halo is most likely going to debut along with the Xbox Series X.
