The things that doesn’t look promising for RDR2 is trying to surpass Grand Theft Auto V. In May it was reported that GTA V had sold 110 million copies since being released in 2013.

We’ll have to see how much more games will be sold through 2020 and if possibly being on track to be on the level of GTA V.
